At JSB Training we accept a small number of horses and ponies in for training.  Jen has over 20 years experience starting unbroken horses and ponies, as well as showing hunters and jumpers.  She has safely and successfully started over one hundred horses that have gone on to have careers in hunters, jumpers, eventing, dressage and pleasure.   She utilizes traditional techniques and is not afraid to modify her program to meet the needs of the individual horse.

We also offer tune-ups for mature horses or ponies that have become rusty or need to further their education.   

Correct flatwork is a cornerstone of our training program.  Even our smallest ponies should know how to yield to your leg, soften in their jaw and relax through their back.  We regularly use gymnastic exercises to promote confident, correct jumping.  Our facility boasts several hundred acres for hacking out and trail riding.
